Spoilers: Alfred and Audrey’s later context
TheXboxHub describes Alfred as travelling after Audrey’s death, following the illustrated journal she left. That later context explains why Audrey’s route instructions and remembered scenes carry so much weight; the ending page discusses the final scenes separately.
