Beginner tips for Forever Ago

Forever Ago is a short narrative game. You cannot lose a fight, because there is no fight. The things that actually block people are the camera rules and a prompt that only appears when you stand in the right spot.

What to do in every chapter

Three jobs repeat: explore, photograph, talk. The journal is both the task list and the album. Audrey wrote the lists. Alfred adds tickets and stickers.

Steam’s Old Bones condition asks for every rest opportunity. Forever Ago Wiki reports that chapter replay does not combine missed rests into the unlock. Plan rests within one playthrough, but distinguish that player report from the shorter official condition.

Questions

Are photographs graded?

Steam lists count-based goals at 25 and 50 photos. Those conditions do not specify a photo-quality score. Selfies still use a countdown, and the resort contains an arcade game.

Can I return to an earlier chapter?

After completing the story, according to GamingTrend. Treat Old Bones separately: community reports say missed rests cannot be patched together through chapter select.
